Sales Development Intern

Job Overview:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, we are looking for a Sales Development Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of market research and data entry platforms and processes and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in business or economics. Our business internship allows students to gain practical experience with basic sales processes in the Biomed / regenerative medicine space. The intern will work with a team of professionals to help establish communication with new clients and assist sales managers with leads.

Essential Functions: (What you will do)

• Conduct cold calls and learn market research tools to help establish lines of communication between the company and new clients.
• Shadow sales managers on pitches and meetings to learn sales procedures for the company.
• Updating sales records and documents accurately.
• Communicating with vendors and clients at the manager’s request.
• Observing how to close deals in the sales process.
• Communicating with vendors and clients at the manager’s request.
• Conducting research and collating survey data.
• Working with their manager or a sales associate to complete assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications (What you need to have):

• Interest in sales and market research in the Biomed space.
• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in business or economics.
• Must be heading into Junior or Senior year or are a recent graduate.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or similar spreadsheet software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with users at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: On-Site – Mesa, AZ

• Paid Internship - $20.00 per hour

• You will get to conduct sales calls and lead a sales meeting by the end of the internship.
